<span style="color: #222222;">The burial rites of the first Asian Archbishop Cardinal Telesphore P. Toppo are being done today with full state honour at St. Mary's Cathedral in Ranchi. Earlier today Governor CP Radhakrishnan paid homage to the Cardinal by offering a wreath on the mortal remains of Cardinal Telesphore P. Toppo at St. Mary's Church on Dr. Camil Bulke Road in Ranchi. <br />''<br />''The Governor said that the demise of Cardinal Toppo is a matter of grief for the entire humanity and people of Jharkhand. He said that Cardinal had dedicated his entire life to humanity and the upliftment of backward tribals. The Governor also added that it is a matter of pride for the whole country that Archbishop Cardinal Toppo was elected as the first tribal Cardinal from the Asian countries. On the occasion, Chief Minister Hemant Soren and State Health Minister Banna Gupta also paid final tributes to Cardinal Telesphore P Toppo. Representatives from Pope in Vatican City also attended the funeral of the Cardinal.</span><br />
