Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the government will provide 24x 7 electricity to every household by 2022. He said that development of the poor and marginalized people of the society is his only goal. Addressing the Indian diaspora in Singapore this evening before wrapping up his 2 day visit, Mr.Modi lauded that 40 lakh people have given up LPG subsidy. He said that the world has become interdependent and no country in the world can remain in isolatation. <br/><br/>Stressing on the development agenda, the Prime Minister said that FDI has been increased and today the world looks towards India with great faith. He said that India wants renewal energy, wind energy and nuclear energy and during last 18 months several countries have signed pacts with India on civil nuclear cooperation.<br/><br/>Earlier in the day, India and Singapore singed 10 MoUs and agreements including India – Singapore Strategic Partnership. Mr.Modi has invited Singapore' participation in smart city and other infrastructure projects. Both the Prime Ministers issued joint declaration stating that both the countries have decided to elavate bilateral relations to a strategic partnership.
