Rural Development Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has said government will make cleanliness a people's mission. <br/><br/>Addressing a press conference in New Delhi this afternoon. Mr Tomar said, cleanliness is very critical for the country's development. <br/><br/>The Minister also termed arsenic and flouride affected drinking water as a major problem. He said the government has fixed a time line to redress the situation in the next four years. <br/><br/>He said the government is working to provide safe, clean drinking water and has evolved various schemes in this regard. The Minister also informed that Sikkim, Himachal Pradesh and Kerala have been added as Open Defecation Free states.
