The government has said there is no proposal for relaxation in Biometric Enrolment Process for foreign tourists under its consideration. <br/><br/>However, the cruise tourists arriving with e-visa at the ports of Mumbai, Cochin, Mormugao, Chennai and New Mangalore have been exempted from the requirement of biometric enrolment for a period of three years till 31st of December 2020. <br/><br/>This was stated by Minister of State for Home Affairs, Kiren Rijiju in a written reply in the Lok Sabha today.
