The Government has decided to establish an Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) in every block with more than 50 percent Scheduled Tribes (ST) population and at least twenty thousand tribal persons.<br />''<br />''This information was given by the Minister of State for Tribal Affairs, Mrs Renuka Singh Saruta in the Lok Sabha today. She said the target is to establish 740 EMRSs in the country. A total 679 EMRSs have been sanctioned till 22nd of last month.
