Government has issued moderate flood warnings in eleven States in view of heavy to very heavy rainfall forecast by Met Department in the next 48 to 72 hours. <br/><br/>The states are Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Goa, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. <br/><br/>Met Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall with extremely heavy fall in East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Konkan, Goa Coastal and Ghat areas of South Interior Karnataka. <br/><br/>Due to this rainfall, Mahi, Sabarmati, Banas, Godavari and Krishna Tapi, Cauvery rivers and their tributaries are likely to rise and create low to moderate flood.
