Expressing satisfaction with the Mission XI Million festival held in Mumbai, Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Vijay Goel said that along with cricket, Government is trying to encourage young generation in sports such as football, Hockey, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi and Kushti. He said that the government is willing to make football reach to 15000 schools.Praising the efforts to organize such an event, he assured to make efforts to promote football among kids. The Mission XI Million festival was also held at Andheri Sports Complex in Mumbai after this function. More than 500 children from various academies and schools were seen at the festival, engaging in a variety of activities. The kids got a chance to play exhibition games and demonstrate the skills they have gained through Mission XI Million in front of the FIFA Legend. The children were later felicitated by the FIFA Legend.
