Union IT and Law Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad today said government is taking policy decisions to empower country. Speaking during the launch of the Hackathon and release of the Guidelines for Development of e-Governance Applications (GuDApps) in New Delhi, Mr Prasad said, the government is trying to make technology affordable and inclusive through digital India initiative. He said, privacy rights of individuals are protected in India and the Aadhaar Act is tough and ensures privacy.
