Finance Minister Arun Jaitley today said in the Lok Sabha that the government is seized of the concerns of Andhra Pradesh regarding special status for the state. He said that discussions with the State government are at advance stage and soon a solution will be found regarding special status for the state. <br/><br/>During zero hour, Mr Jaitley gave assurance to the YSR Congress Party members who were demanding special status for Andhra Pradesh. Raising the issue, YSR Congress member Rajmohan Reddy said, BJP and TDP had promised to grant special status to the State in their election manifesto but so far the present government has not fulfilled the promise. Earlier, as soon as the House met, the YSR Congress party members trooped into the well and shouted slogan to press their demand.
