<span style="color: #222222;">Minority Affairs Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has said that the government is implementing various schemes for the welfare and upliftment of every section of the society including minorities. He said the government is implementing various scholarship schemes for educational empowerment of six notified minority communities – Sikhs, Christians, Jains, Muslims, Buddhists, and Parsis under which around four crore 52 lakh minority students belong to economically weaker sections have been benefitted. Mr. Naqvi said this in a written reply in the Rajya Sabha today.</span>
