A bill to change the name of the State of Orissa to Odisha was today introduced in the Lok Sabha by the Home Minister Minister, Mr P Chidambaram. <br/><br/>Earlier, a resolution was adopted in state legislative assembly in this regard, was forwarded to the Centre for the change in the name. <br/><br/>A Constitutional amendment bill to change the name of the state's language from Oriya in the 8th Schedule to be changed to Odia was also introduced. The translation of Odiya should be revised.<br/>
