Government today introduced an amendment bill in the Rajya Sabha to provide a juvenile justice system for juveniles in conflict with law. Introducing the bill Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Krishna Tirath said that the objective of this proposed legislation is to provide proper care, protection and treatment to the juvenile by catering to their development needs and by adopting a child friendly approach for their ultimate rehabilitation.
