The government, in its budget, has focussed on inclusive growth for all, and upliftment of the minorities. Finance Minister Arun Jaitley in his maiden budget this year, has increased the budget allocations for minorities by 15.17 per cent from around 4,050 crore rupees in 2013-14 to around 4,669 crore rupees.
