The ruling Congress party asserted that there is no dilution in the government stand on the Women's Reservation Bill. Talking to reporters in New Delhi, party spokesman Abhishek Singhvi said that the process of evolving a consensus on women's bill is on and the government is committed towards that end. He also ruled out any differences among the coalition partners on the historic legislation.<br/><br/>Nationalist Congress Party president Sharad Pawar had suggested to SP, RJD and JD (U) leaders that reduction in the proposed 33 per cent reservation can be considered to arrive at a consensus on the issue.<br/><br/>He said Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee had already assured the House that all parties would be taken into confidence by the government on the issue.
