Government announces regulations for safe commercial usage of drones

<span style="color: #222222;">Government has announced regulations for safe commercial usage of drones. The regulations will be effective from 1st of December this year. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Addressing the media in New Delhi, Civil Aviation Minister Suresh Prabhu said, the regulations are intended to enable visual line-of-sight daytime-only and a maximum of 400 feet altitude operations. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">He said, airspace has been partitioned into the Red Zone in which flying is not permitted, Yellow Zone that is controlled airspace and the Green Zone for automatic permission. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Mr Prabhu said, these progressive regulations will encourage a vast Made in India drone industry. He expressed confidence that many new and exciting applications will emerge which will take Indian economy forward. </span><br />
