Home Minister P Chidambaram held a meeting with Gorkha Janmukti Morcha on Tuesday on the demand for statehood to Gorkhaland. After an hour long meeting GJM General Secretary Roshan Giri told the reporters that they had a detailed discussion in a cordial and positive atmosphere. He however refused to divulge what transpired at the meeting.
