In Assam, train services in the Lumding-Silchar Hill Section have been disrupted following derailment of a goods train at Migrendisa in Dima Hasao district. A North East Frontier Railway spokesman said, two bogies of a goods train derailed between Milongdisa and Harangajao railway stations when it was on its way from Lumding to Silchar on Friday night. He said, restoration works are on to make the train services regular in the Hill section. In view of this, the Railways have cancelled the Barak Valley Express both ways today.
