Goods train derailment disrupts Train movement on Delhi -Howrah route

The train movement on Delhi -Howrah route is disturbed due to derailment of a goods train near Kanpur this morning. The North Central Railway(NCR) PRO Amit Malviya told AIR News that five wagons of a goods train derailed near Kanchausi station between Kanpur and Tundla station. Several trains which run on this route have been affected since the track is blocked. The some of the trains are running from diverted routes. The main affected trains Shtabadi -Delhi Express ,Jodhpur -Howrah Express ,Swarn Jayanti Express,Swatantrata Senani Express ,and Toofan Mail ,North- East Express and Muri Express .More than dozens trains have been diverted so far . The work is on to clear the track and the trian movement will be normal on this track by the evening the NCR Chief PRO R. D.Vajpayee said The 2308, Jodhpur -Howrah is now running through Shikhoahbad- Farukkhabad -Kanpur route ,8102 Muri Express also diverted through Shikohabad Kanpur route and 2506 North East Express is also diverted Shikohabad Kanpur route.2312 Kalka Mail is also running through Khurja-Hapur -Muradabad route. Meanwhile some trains have been diverted at different stations. The Howrah-Delhi Janta Express has terminated at Kanpur while Toofan Mail has terminated at Agra station.
