India today said, it was good that the Obama administration recognised the links between the ISI and Haqqani network of Taliban, amid a raging US-Pak row over the spy agency's support to the dreaded terror outfit.
External Affairs Minister S M Krishna said in New York, he thinks that New Delhi's stand has been vindicated. In its latest row with Pakistan, the US has accused military-run ISI of not only supporting the Haqqani terror network but also encouraging it to launch more brazen strikes on American installations in Afghanistan.
Top US military commanders have said that Haqqani network backed by ISI carried out the September 13 attack on the American embassy in Kabul in which 25 people were killed.
India and the US will also discuss their bilateral relationship when Krishna meets Secretary of State Hillary Clinton tomorrow.
