There is good news for Indian workers in Saudi Arabia who have been affected by the Nitaqat Programme. Leading Indian companies in Saudi Arabia have offered placement to Indian workers affected by the Nitaqat programme. Indian Embassy in Riyadh has issued a statement saying that the Telecommunications Consultants India Ltd is looking for both skilled and unskilled workers. A major Saudi company in a new industrial area has also approached the Indian Embassy in Riyadh offering placement for around 300 Indian workers in both skilled and unskilled labour category.
