Former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee's birthday observed as Good Governance Day today who has turned 92 today. Good Governance campaign will be launched for 100 days starting today. <br/><br/>On the occasion, Minister of State for Personnel Dr Jitendra Singh launched six major initiatives of his ministry at a function in New Delhi. The initiatives are Recruitment Rules Formation, Amendment Monitoring System, Immovable Property Return through Property Related Information System, announcement of E-Service Book, Mandatory online filing of APAR by all All India Services and Central Group A Service Officers, EO App on iPhone Operating System and launching of redesigned website of Department of Personnel and Training.<br/><br/>Ministry of Textiles also launched today 'JUTE-SMART' an online portal in New Delhi to facilitate purchase of Jute bags from the Jute industry by the state procurement agencies.
