Good Friday is being observed by Christians across the country and abroad today. The day marks the crucifixion of Jesus Christ on this day over 2,000 years ago. Special services are being organised in churches in Delhi and other places to observe the Good Friday. <br/><br/>Pope Benedict XVI celebrated a ceremony in Saint John Lateran Basilica to commemorate Jesus' Last Supper, and in the morning he held a Chrism Mass in Saint Peter's Basilica.<br/><br/>Good Friday is being observed in Goa today as in the rest of the country. Several programmes are being held to mark the occassion.
