The Group of Ministers headed by the Finance Minister Mr Pranab Mukherjee will meet on Wednesday in New Delhi to discuss the issue of equity infusion into Air India and a review of its turnaround plans .<br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports the GoM would examine the implementation of various measures taken by Air India to reduce costs and generate revenues.<br/><br/>The government had earlier decided to grant the ailing carrier 800 crore rupees this fiscal, while another 1,200 crores was planned for release in 2010-11.<br/><br/>This plan would also come up for review at the crucial meeting on Wednesday. Besides Mr Mukherjee, the GoM includes Home, Law and Civil Aviation ministers.
