The Group of Ministers, GoM, on Land Acquisition Bill today remained divided over the issue of retrospective acquisitions and the consent required from land owners.
Talking to reporters after the meeting, Agriculture Minister Sharad Pawar said that two-three more meetings are required to finalise the Bill.
He expressed the hope that all the issues will be settled and the Bill will be finalised in two or three more meetings. During the last meeting too, the same issues had divided the members of the GoM headed by Mr. Pawar.
