GoM on CWG reviews security arrangements; expresses satisfaction

The Group of Ministers on Commonwealth Games discussed the security arrangements for the mega sports event in the National capital next month and expressed happiness with the preparations. Urban Development Minister S Jaipal Reddy, who is also the chairman of the GoM, told reporters in New Delhi that the security arrangement was discussed with the Delhi Police Commissioner and all the venues will be handed over to the police for sanitisation for three days. The lock-down period for all the venues will start from 20th September. Mr Reddy said, during lock-down period the entire venue will be completely sanitised by security agencies.
