<span style="color: #222222;">A meeting of the Group of Ministers on COVID-19 was held today. This was chaired by Health Minister, Dr. Harsh vardhan. In the meeting in New Delhi, present status, actions and preparedness of states for COVID-19 management was discussed. Earlier,  Dr. Harshvardhan said, suspected cases of the virus need rapid isolation in designated facilities.<br />'' <br />'' In Telangana, no fresh coronavirus positive case registered itoday, while the police and the state authorities are making allout efforts to suspend the growing positive cases.<br />'' <br />'' In Chhattisgarh, two new patients have been tested positive for COVID 19 today. With this, the number of patients has increased to three in the state.<br />'' <br />'' In Madhya Pradesh, four persons in Indore and one person each in Bhopal and Ujjain were found infected today with the corona virus. With this, the number of patients suffering from corona in the state increased to 15.<br />'' <br />'' In Chandigarh, a 31 year male resident of Mohali in Punjab admitted at CD-Ward of  PGIMER has turned out to be negative for novel COVID – 19.Giving this information a spokesman of Chandigarh administration said that 2 females have been admitted today after the symptoms of novel corona virus were observed.<br />'' <br />'' 3 new cases reported in the Gujarat. Principal Secretary of Health Department Dr. Jayanti Ravi  informed media today that the total number of positive cases in the state went to 38 today, with 3 new cases. One each cases were reported in Ahmedabad, Vadodara and Surat.<br />'' <br />'' The Assam government said that sufficient essential food items are available for the people of the state. Speaking to the media Chief Secretary Kumar Sanjay Krishna said that stocks over 3 lakh tonnes are available which could feed 3 months. He added that 1 train carrying additional goods is reaching the state.  DGP Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta urged people to implement the lock down .<br />'' <br />'' In Himachal Pradesh, appropriate and effective steps are being taken to ensure an adequate supply of essential commodities to the people of the state during the twenty-one-day lockdown in the country as well as the State. Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur took stock of the situation due to the lockdown in a high-level meeting in Shimla today.<br />'' <br />'' Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has announced that one thousand rupees will be given to each family of ration card holders throughout the state.This decision has been taken in view of lockdown.The government had already taken decision to provide one month free ration for whole card holders in the state.<br />''<br />''In Mizoram, the State govt will provide free ration to the beneficiaries of Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) and also to the Priority Household Card Holders to ease the hardships faced by the poor section of people during the lockdown period, going on to maintain social distancing to fight against spread of Corona Virus. The Food and Civil Supply and Consumer Affairs Minister K. Lalrinliana said this in a televised message this evening. </span>
