The Group of Ministers on the Commonwealth Games has expressed satisfaction over the pace of progress in preparations. The GoM, which met in New Delhi last night, also approved the theme song for the event composed by Oscar winner A R Rahman.Urban Development Minister S Jaipal Reddy, who heads the GoM, said the theme song will be before public in another 10 days.Mr Reddy also made it clear that there is no change in schedule. He said, there should not be any concern over some delays in meeting deadlines in the readiness of the stadium to host the events. The nearly three-hour long meeting discussed the organisational details for the 11-day event starting in the capital on the 4th of October and discussed the broad contours of the opening ceremony.
