Snapping two days of fall, gold jumped 575 rupees to 31,625 rupees per ten grams at Delhi's bullion market, today, on fresh buying by stockists at current lower levels amid a firm global trend. Silver shot up 790 rupees to 45,790 rupees per kilo on increased offtake by jewellery fabricators and industrial units. Silver coins advanced 1,000 rupees to 85,000 rupees for buying 100 pieces.Overseas, gold rose 0.6 percent to 1,258 dollars an ounce.
