On Thursday (7th December 2023), Gold was trading up at Multi Commodity Exchange for February contracts. The precious metal was up by 70 rupees to trade at 62,510 rupees per ten gram. While silver futures for March contracts was down by 130 rupees to trade at 74,700 rupees per kilogram when reports last came in.

In the global markets, gold was trading up at 2,048 dollars and 10 cents per ounce at New York Mercantile Exchange. However, silver was down at 24 dollars and 62 cents per ounce in intra-day trade.
