Gold rose 70 rupees, to 30,970 rupees per ten grams at Delhi bullion market, today, on increased buying by jewelers. Silver gained 50 rupees, to 46,300 rupees per kilo, on increased offtake by industrial units and coin makers.Silver coins remained steady, at 75,000 rupees for buying 100 pieces. Overseas, gold fell 0.3 per cent, to 1,331 dollars an ounce. Silver lost 0.5 per cent, to 19 dollars 58 cents an ounce.Domestic gold prices have jumped more than 23 per cent since August 9 last year. Global gold prices have climbed 21 per cent in the last one year.
