Gold rose 40 rupees, to 27,350 rupees per ten grams at Delhi's bullion market, on Saturday, on a rise in wedding season demand from jewellers. But silver lacked necessary buying support from industrial units, and declined 275 rupees, to 38,285 rupees per kilo. Silver coins spurted 1,000 rupees, to 64,000 rupees for buying 100 pieces, on increased marriage season demand.
