Gold price on Tuesday added 185 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for April contracts. The precious metal was trading at 56,030 rupees per 10 gram.

While silver was down 145 rupees to trade at 65,605 rupees per kilogram for March Contracts when reports last came in.

In the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold was trading down to trade at 1,840 dollars and 40 cents per ounce. While silver was flat at around 21 dollars 90 cents per ounce in intra-day trade.
