Today, Gold was trading up at the Multi Commodity Exchange for December contracts. The precious metal was up by 129 rupees to trade at 62,240 rupees per ten grams. Silver futures for December contracts was also up by 498 rupees to trade at 72,870 rupees per kilogram when reports last came in.
 
In the global markets, gold was trading up at 1,968 dollars per ounce at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Silver was also trading up at 23 dollars and 75 cents per ounce in the intra-day session.
