Gold tumbled 1,250 rupees, to 30,950 rupees per ten grams at Delhi's bullion market, today, on a sell-off by stockists, as the equity markets rose and the rupee strengthened after the Reserve Bank' fresh measures to boost economic growth. Silver plunged 1,800 rupees, to 53,700 rupees per kilo, on poor offtake by industrial units, and amid a weakening trend, overseas. Silver coins fell 1,000 rupees, to 88,000 rupees for buying 100 pieces.Overseas, gold fell 0.7 per cent, to 1,381 dollars an ounce. Silver lost 0.9 per cent, to 23.27 dollars an ounce.
