Gold prices today fell 35 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for December contracts. The precious metal was trading at 47,490, rupees per 10 gram in intra-day trade.
 
On the other hand, silver gained 20 rupees to 62,530 rupees per kilogram for December Contracts when reports last came in.

In the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold was up to trade at 1,791 US dollars and 90 per ounce. Silver prices were also down to trade at 23 dollars and 60 cents per ounce in intra-day trade.
