Gold prices in Delhi has touched an all time high in Delhi. The prices jumped by 145 rupees to scale 19,470 rupees per ten grams at Delhi's bullion market today.Festive and marriage season demand, and a firm global trend are said to be the reason for this. Silver ready rose 200 rupees to 31,775 rupees per kilo, the highest level for this year. In the overseas markets, gold traded near its record level, climbing 0.3 per cent, to 1,259.45 dollars an ounce, as a drop in equities increased the precious metal's appeal as an alternative investment. Silver gained 0.6 per cent, to trade above 20 dollar an ounce, its highest level since March 2008.
