Gold surged 325 rupees, to a near record level of 18,340 rupees per ten grams at Delhi's bullion market , today. Silver ready spurted 1,100 rupees, to 29,900 rupees per kilo. In the overseas market, gold touched a new record high of 1,235.30 dollars an ounce.
