Gold continued with its record-breaking spree, surging 300 rupees, to 19,500 rupees per ten grams at Delhi's bullion market, today. Gold rose on festive and marriage season demand, and a rose to record levels in the international markets. Silver also hit a fresh all-time high, spurting 370 rupees, to 32,400 rupees per kilograms. In the overseas markets, gold hit a record high of 1,276.50 dollars an ounce, while silver jumped to 20.53 dollars an ounce, its highest level since March 2008.
