Gold surged 310 rupees, to hit a fresh all-time high of 32,900 rupees per ten grams at Delhi's bullion market, today, on local buying ahead of the marriage season, and amid a rally overseas. Silver rose 800 rupees to 62,000 rupees per kilo.In Singapore, gold rose 0.6 per cent, to 1,778 dollars an ounce– its highest level since February 29.
