Gold slumps to 11-month low of Rs 27,550/10 g on weak demand

Gold slumped 250 rupees, to hit over 11-month low of 27,550 rupees per ten grams at Delhi's bullion market today, on weak demand from jewellers. Silver also fell 210 rupees, to 38,600 rupees per kilo on reduced offtake by industrial units and coin makers. Silver coins remained unchanged at 70,000 rupees for buying 100 pieces.
