Gold, silver tumbles on global cues, sluggish demand<br/>

Both the precious metals, gold and silver tumbled in Delhi today on heavy sell-off by stockists in tandem with a weakening global trend. While gold dropped by 120 rupees to 29,620 rupees per 10 gm, silver lost 550 rupees to 55,700 rupees per kilogram on reduced off take by retailers and industrial units at prevailing higher levels.Gold in global markets, which normally set price trend on the domestic front, fell 0.5 per cent to 1,634.38 US dollar an ounce and silver by 1.2 per cent to 29.99 US dollar an ounce in Singapore.
