Gold and silver prices again surged to new record highs at Delhi's bullion market , today, amid marriage season demand, and a strong rally in the overseas markets. Gold spurted 265 rupees, to 20,600 rupees per ten grams. Silver jumped 1,800 rupees, to 41,700 rupees per kilo.Overseas also, gold climbed to a new peak of over 1,413 dollars an ounce. Silver rose 1.2 per cent, to a new 30-year high of 28.07 dollars an ounce, on concerns that some European countries may struggle to raise funds to meet their balooning deficits.
