Gold prices spurted 190 rupees, to 16,930 rupees per ten grams at Delhi's bullion market, today. Silver ready rose 350 rupees, to 27,400 rupees per kilo.Gold in the overseas markets rose 0.5 per cent, to 1,132.80 dollars an ounce. Gold rose as the dollar turned weak against a basket of major currencies, after the US Federal Reserve decided to hold benchmark interest rates low.
