Gold scales new height of <img src="rs.png" border="0" height="9" /> 29,490 per 10 gram

Gold rose 50 rupees, to a new all-time peak of 29,490 rupees per ten grams at Delhi&apos;s bullion market, today, on sustained buying by stockists to meet the ongoing marriage season demand, and a firm global trend. Silver surged 1,050 rupees, to 56,950rupees per kilo, on increased offtake by industrial units and jewellery makers.In the global markets, gold rose 2.80 dollars, to 1,748 dollars an ounce. Silver added 1.5 per cent, to 33.22 dollars an ounce.
