Gold rose 420 rupees to 28,410 rupees per ten grams at Delhi's bullion market, today, on sustained buying for the ongoing marriage season, amid a firming global trend. Silver surged 1,100 rupees, to 57,100 rupees per kilo.In New York, gold jumped 1.6 percent, to 1,757 dollars an ounce. Silver gained 1.8 per cent to 35 dollars an ounce.
