Gold rose 200 rupees to 26,640 rupees per ten grams at Delhi's bullion market, today, on buying support by stockists, amid a firm trend in the Asian region. Silver jumped 800 rupees, to 54,300 rupees per kilo.Overseas, gold rose 1.6 per cent to 1,640 dollars an ounce. Silver gained 2.2 per cent, to 31 dollars an ounce.
