Just days ahead of Diwali, gold rose 130 rupees, to scale a new high of 16,250 rupees per ten grams, in Delhi, today. Silver ready gained 100 rupees, to 27,600 rupees per kilo.In London, gold touched a new peak of 1,070.80 dollars an ounce on a weakening dollar. Gold has jumped around 20 per cent this year.
