Gold prices on Friday rose 35 rupees per 10 gram at Multi Commodity Exchange for April contracts in sync with gains in the international markets. Gold futures was around 44,985 rupees per ten gram. On the other hand, silver futures fell 230 rupees to trade around 67,520 rupees per kilogram for May contracts.
In global markets, gold was trading up at 1,743 dollars and 30 cents per ounce at the New York Mercantile Exchange while silver fell to 26 dollars and 30 cents per ounce.
