Gold prices today rose 212 rupees at Multi Commodity Exchange for June contracts. The precious metal was trading at around 60,541 rupees per 10 grams. Silver also advanced by 247 rupees to trade around 75,924 rupees per kilogram for May Contracts.
In the global markets, gold was trading in green territory at 2,022 dollars and 10 cents per ounce at the New York Mercantile Exchange. Silver registered gains of 25 dollars 57 cents per ounce in intra-day trade.
