Gold prices today rose marginally at Multi Commodity Exchange for April contracts. The precious metal was trading at 58,585 rupees per 10 gram. While silver was up by 305 rupees to trade at 68,700 rupees per kilogram for May Contracts, when reports last came in.

At the New York Mercantile Exchange, gold was trading up at 1,961 dollars and 80 cents per ounce. Similarly, silver was trading at 22 dollars and 50 cents per ounce in intra-day trade.
